To All the Boys I've Loved Before on Netflix. This film feels like an important moment, but it's also just really, really fun. Watch it. Now!

• "You might know me as Kelly. I am the first woman of color to have a leading role in a “Star Wars” movie. I am the first Asian woman to appear on the cover of Vanity Fair. My real name is Loan. And I am just getting started."

• Nike has made Colin Kaepernick the face of their 30th anniversary campaign and the world took notice (I was so moved to see this)! Though embroiled in a class action lawsuit from its female employees, perhaps this stance exemplifies how complicated our relationships with brands can be.

• The complicated female genius of Lauryn Hill.

• Olivia Muenter is the fashion and beauty editor at Bustle, but she also writes (beautifully) over on her blog. We loved her piece this week about why an all or nothing mentality doesn't serve her.
